This was an under-performing office facility that included two 55,000-square-foot buildings and was 20 percent occupied. Six months after its purchase, Buckhead West was 100 percent leased with a substantial waiting list for space. The two office buildings are within five minutes of downtown Atlanta, offering the business community easy access to Interstate 75 and the Atlanta financial district.

The offices are well suited to high-tech firms, with a substantial portion of the space currently occupied by high-tech industry tenants. The site can accommodate an additional 100,000-square-foot office building. The existing buildings have undergone core, shell and site renovations that began in June 1997 and were completed in December 1997.
